Places of Interest to Visit

There are miles of beautiful, un-crowded sandy beaches within half an hour's drive on good quiet roads, together with many points of interest such as Villedieu-les-Poeles with its copper industry, bell foundry, museums and lively weekly market. Also, there is Granville's working fishing port, and the magnificent Cathedral at Coutances, to name but a few of the many diverse attractions in the area that suit all ages. There are modern supermarkets within fifteen minutes drive for easy shopping. Normandy is synonymous with good food and drink, and the tradition is well upheld with the numerous small inexpensive restaurants in the area offering local seafood and delicious cheeses.
